COURTNEY AUCTIONS ONLINE AUCTION DISCLAIMER

CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD: Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an ‘as is’ and “where is” basis. We encourage all bidders to verify the condition of each item by viewing them closely online, or by contacting us directly. By registering for our auction(s) means you have read and agree with this disclaimer in its entirety and that you agree all sales are final. No responsibility is assumed by Courtney Auctions for any errors or omissions.

REGISTER TO BID

A credit card is required to verify your ability to bid. Auctions are conducted via the Auction Flex / Hi-Bid platform. This is a trusted site, all data is encrypted and PCI compliant and SSL certificates are maintained. There is no cost to register and bid. If you are the successful bidder your credit card will be charged. All bids are final and cannot be retracted.

MAXIMUM BID

If you chose to leave a maximum bid and the item sell below your maximum you will only be the charged the final bid amount. The Auction Flex software will bid the predetermined minimum bid when you are out bid and if you check the “outbid notification box” you will be notified if you are no longer the high bidder.

WINNING BIDDERS

Will be notified shortly after the auction. Your credit card can be charged at that time for the price of the items you have won plus buyer premium and taxes.

PICK UP OF ITEMS

MUST be made within the hours specified for the auction unless previously arranged. Items not picked up will be considered abandoned and will be disposed.

SHIPPING AVAILABLE

Shipping costs are $5.00 for handling per box, plus Canada Post Charges. We do not ship large or heavy items. If shipping is not paid for within 7 days of notice of shipping fees, items will become property of Courtney Auctions. Due to recent increases in US shipping costs, Shipping is available to Canada ONLY. Covid 19 Restrictions prevent in person preview, so please bid accordingly (items as shown) and contact us if you have any questions.
SOFT CLOSE

All auction items will have the soft close policy in place. If a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of a sale that item will not close for another 2 minutes and will remain open as long as there are bids

AUCTION ITEMS

All items are sold on an “as is” basis. Please feel free to contact Courtney Auctions with any questions and we encourage you to visit the preview. Courtney Auctions assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions.

ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS

We reserve the right to remove and/or add items to the sale at any point during the auction.

DISPUTES

We will do our best to satisfactorily resolve all legitimate disputes. Previews should satisfy any questions and if there is a description error please notify us. If there are changes to a specific item during a sale it will be posted or removed on the Web site. All sales are final.

PERSONAL AND PROPERTY RISKS

The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and save Courtney Auctions and their consignors harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including the negligent acts or omissions of Courtney Auctions, or anyone acting in his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of an auction.

By bidding you are acknowledging agreement with the terms above. Do not bid unless you agree to the all of the above terms.
